About Me

My name is Pilar Sanchez, and I am currently working as a student teacher. I love math, and want to help young people love it too. I am always looking for new ways to simplify content and communicate it to students.

My mission as an educator can be summarized in three points: 

• I want to make real-world math appealing to young girls and minorities and encourage these groups to pursue careers in math, science, engineering and technology.
• I am devoted to helping students become more self sufficient so they can be prepared for college.
• I want to prepare young people to be productive members of society.

Oh! One more thing about me: This November I will marry the love of my life.  :)
